Dollar Tree DIY White Christmas Dog Wreath

This time of year some folks may have visions of sugarplum fairies dancing in their heads, but after a recent trip to Dollar Tree, we’re dreaming’ of a doggie white Christmas DIY.

When you’re a crafting dog mom, inspiration for your next project can be found everywhere you look. So when we came across this simple yet elegant faux fur muffler, we knew it’d be the perfect wintry backdrop for a fluffy White Christmas Dog Wreath! So soft, luxurious and furry…just like our pups. 😉

Time to make another magnificent mutt-lovers masterpiece to celebrate the holiday season!

You’ll need…

  • A variety of greens, pinecones and other embellishments
  • Stick pins
  • Hot glue gun and sticks
  • Scissors

Step 1

Wrap the muffler around the wreath so the faux fur side is showing (knit side down).  Pin muffler to the wreath – overlapping the edges – until the form is completely covered.

Step 2

Use glue and pins to attach your wintry mix of greens, pinecones and other embellishments onto the lower half of the wreath. Make a small bow and attach it to the wreath with hot glue.

Step 3

If you’d like, you can pin an ornament to the top of the wreath so that it hangs into the center of the wreath opening for another festive touch.

That’s it! So quick and easy – and isn’t she a beauty? We love how you can personalize this Christmas dog wreath any way you want… modern and colorful, classic and traditional, or warm and rustic…let your imagination soar!

Here’s wishing you and your pups a wonderful White Christmas, wherever you are!
