This week, we’re giving this everyday kitchen find a holly jolly makeover with a sparkly red finish, Santa’s signature black belt and a festive flourish of Christmas flowers and greenery. The result is a fun, budget-friendly Dollar Tree Christmas DIY with plenty of personality and just the right amount of Santa sparkle.
If you love easy Christmas crafts and creative Dollar Tree Christmas decor, this pizza pan craft is definitely one to add to your nice list!
You’ll need…
- Paint 2 coats of red chalk paint onto the pizza pan. Let dry.
- Apply a good coat of Mod Podge over the paint and sprinkle red glitter generously over the pan. Let dry.
- Cut a piece of black ribbon several inches wider than the pan. Make Santa’s belt by threading the ribbon through the buckle and gluing the belt onto the pan. Flip the pan over and glue the ends of the ribbon to the back to secure them in place.
- With the back of the pan still facing you, cut some gold ribbon (about 6 inches or so) to use as a hanger. Make a loop with the ribbon and glue the ends near the top of the pan. You can use a small scrap of black ribbon to glue over the ends of the hanger to give it a bit more support.
- Turn the pan over so you’re viewing the front. Grab a few faux flowers and some greenery, then glue them in a cluster near the top of the pan. Hang and enjoy!
Not bad for a humble little pizza pan, right? With some sparkle, festive finishing touches and a little help from the jolly fella himself, it’s ready to spread Christmas cheer wherever you put it. So grab those Dollar Tree supplies, crank up the Christmas music and get your ho-ho-hot glue gun ready! 🎅❤️
