Pot of Gold Dog Cookies

Everyone’s Irish on St. Patrick’s Day, including your pup! 

Get the pawty started this St. Patrick’s Day with a recipe for homemade Pot of Gold Dog Cookies! These colorful nuggets are exactly what every doggie dreams of at the end of the rainbow. And your pup is sure to feel like they’ve hit the jackpot with every rewarding bite.

You’ll need…

Ingredients:

2 cups flour

1 egg

1/2 cup chicken broth or stock

2 tablespoons vegetable oil (substitute any oil)

1/4 teaspoon salt

1 teaspoon tumeric

Time Required: 

15 minutes

Servings: 

20 yummy treats

Step 1

Combine all ingredients in a bowl.

Step 2

Dust your workspace with flour and turn your mixed dough out. Roll dough until it’s about 1/4″ thick. Cut with round cookie cutters (or roll into small balls) and place onto a non-stick baking sheet.

Step 3

Bake at 350°F for 15 minutes or until treats are lightly browned on the bottom. You can store treats on the counter in an airtight container for up to 10 days or place in the freezer for up to 2 months.

So festive and so yummy – your furry BFF will be doin’ a little Irish jig doggie dance on their tippy toes in honor of the upcoming holiday. Bone appetit and happy St. Patrick’s Day!
