27 Aug Dollar Tree Pet Memorial Frame
Today’s project may be simple, but the meaning behind it is anything but small. ❤️
In honor of Rainbow Bridge Day, we’re taking a sweet sentiment from a pet sympathy card and turning it into a lasting keepsake for beloved pets who live on in our hearts. With a Dollar Tree wooden frame, a scrap of denim, and hand-sketched heart and paw print designs, you can create a special little memorial to display alongside a favorite photo, collar, or other treasured reminder.
You’ll need…
- 4×6 wood bead frame
- Pet sympathy card
- Scrap of blue denim fabric
- White acrylic paint & brush
- Hot glue gun and sticks
- Scissors

- Remove the backing and glass from the frame and set them aside. Give the wood frame a light coat of white paint. You can water down the paint for a white-washed look or use a dry brush technique, if you prefer. Let dry.
- Cut a piece of denim that’s 4×6 inches in size. Attach to the frame’s backing.
- Select a portion of the card’s front that will fit into the frame and cut it out. In our example, we cut a portion with the saying “The animals we love stay in our hearts forever” along with a few hand-sketched hearts.
- Glue the card so that it’s centered on the denim. Put everything back in the frame to hang on the wall or to place on a shelf or mantel.
This one turns out so lovely… and it’s a thoughtful way to remember a furry family member or to create a meaningful sympathy gift for someone who’s missing theirs.
