Paw Print Blueberry Buns

When it comes to being fur moms, we’re always looking for ways to create wholesome, delicious dog treats that our pups can enjoy. And these homemade Paw Print Blueberry Buns feature delicious, pet-friendly ingredients that are guaranteed to make tails and tongues wag!

Blueberries are not only tasty, they’re a wonderful ingredient for your pupper. Just as we benefit from the fiber and antioxidants so do our four-legged friends….and they help to make the most adorable little paw print dog cookies ever!

You’ll need…

Ingredients:

1/2 cup water

1 egg

2 teaspoons honey

1 1/2 cups flour

3/4 cup blueberries

1 tsp coconut oil

Time Required:

30 minutes

Servings:

1 donzen yummy treats

Step 1

Combine together the water, eggs, and honey until thoroughly mixed. Then slowly stir in the flour. Add coconut oil at the end to give the dough a good consistency.

Step 2

Shape the mixture into 1 inch size balls with your hands and place onto a non-stick baking sheet. (Tip: add some extra oil to your hands to make it easier to create the balls) Place blueberries on the treats in a paw pattern and push down lightly to cement them in the dough.

Step 3

Bake at 325°F for 22-25 minutes or until treats are lightly browned on the bottom. You can store treats in an airtight container for about a week or place in the freezer for up to 2 months.

Homemade dog treats your puppy will love! And look how cute they turn out! These yummy snacks would be the pawfect dog treat to whip up to celebrate your pup’s birthday, gotcha day, the holidays – or any day!
