Berry Cute Pupsicles

Time to pamper our pooches with some yummies for their tummies! You’ll love how simple it is to whip up a batch of Berry Cute Pupsicles – and oh my goodness – your furry heartthrobs will go crazy for these three-ingredient fruit and yogurt treats.

Let’s have some frozen fun!

You’ll need…

Immersion blender or blender

Ingredients:

Strawberries (about 3)

Raspberries (about a 1/4 Cup)

1/4 Cup Plain yogurt

Sandwich bag

Scissors

Time Required:

15 minutes + 2 hours freeze time

This recipe calls for plain, unsweetened yogurt. All natural, vanilla yogurt is ok and shouldn’t bother your dog, but plain or Greek yogurt is a far better option, since vanilla yogurt will have sweeteners. Regardless of which you choose, please make sure the yogurt DOES NOT CONTAIN the artificial sweetener XYLITOL. It’s extremely toxic to dogs!!

Note: Strawberries, raspberries and yogurt are safe for dogs to eat. If you have any concerns about what you’re feeding your dogs or questions regarding possible allergic reactions, please call your vet.

Step 1

Rinse the strawberries and cut off their stems. Rinse raspberries and set them aside on a plate.

Step 2

Puree yogurt and about 3 strawberries with a blender until smooth.

Step 3

Pour the puree mixture into a sandwich bag, cut off the tip on one end, and squeeze the bag from the top as you fill the raspberries with the pink puree.

Step 4

Freeze for 2-3 hours or overnight. Store in the freezer long-term using an air-tight container.

How cute are these?!! So wholesome and tasty. These Valentine’s Day dog treats are filled with love in every bite!

Important Tip! These frozen pupsicles are best served outdoors…and just a few at a time (to avoid the dreaded brain freeze…haha!). When sharing them indoors, be sure to supervise your pup. if your dog wanders off and drops one on the floor, the frozen berry treats will melt and stain your carpet!
