Spring Bee Basket Wreath

What if your front door décor didn’t have to be a wreath at all?

Dollar Tree has started to offer some boujee looking baskets lately. We found the cutest one walking up and down the aisles this week and immediately started imagining what it could become. A little yellow paint, a few florals, and some buzzing bee details later, it transforms into a bright and welcoming piece of spring door décor that’s anything but ordinary.

It’s an easy Dollar Tree DIY that adds a cheerful twist to your seasonal decorating.

You’ll need…

  1. Paint a yellow and black stripe around the inside and outside of your basket.
  2. Glue some floral foam inside the basket near one side. Then tuck yellow and white flowers into the foam to make a pretty bouquet.
  3. Adhere the welcome sign to the rim of the basket above the bouquet.
  4. Pull the windchime apart and glue the bee/s near the sign along the rim.
  5. Take the hook from the windchime and glue it to the back of the basket for a hanger.

Once it’s hung on your door, this little basket has a way of brightening everything around it. The stripes, flowers, and tiny bee details come together in a piece that feels cheerful, welcoming, and ready for the season. Pretty impressive for something that started as a simple Dollar Tree basket! 😄
