08 Apr Dollar Tree DIY Dog Lovers Twine Easter Eggs
Oh my goodness, have you seen all of the fun Easter decor at Dollar Tree lately? During our last trip, we filled our carts to the brim with eggs, ribbons and jute to create some twine beauties for the upcoming bunny holiday.
This simple Dollar Tree DIY craft is so quick, easy and the perfect addition to your family’s home decor. Let’s give your Easter decorations a rustic and cozy touch with these Dog Lovers Twine Easter Eggs!
You’ll need…
- Mini paw print stickers
- Scissors
- Hot glue gun and sticks
Step 1
Remove the ribbon and put a nice drop of glue at the base of the egg. Tack down one end of the jute string and begin winding it around the egg, adding more glue and making sure it’s secured as you go. Continue until you have several eggs completely covered.
Step 2
Wrap the center of each egg with ribbon, glue the ends down, and accent it with a cute paw print sticker.
Step 3
Fill a decorative Easter bag, basket or wooden bowl with dried moss and tuck the eggs inside. Add additional moss, as necessary.
Don’t you just love how they turned out?! They couldn’t be easier to make – and you can have a fun time going through your craft stash to decorate and personalize them any way you’d like. Here’s to a festive and stylish spring!
