12 Feb Strawberry Banana Valentine Dog Treats
We’ve got some very happy pups hanging around the kitchen this week!
These Strawberry Banana Dog Treats are fruity, wholesome, and speckled with natural strawberry goodness. Cut into heart shapes and baked to perfection, they’re a simple way to show your pup just how much they mean to you.
And with about 100 inch sized biscuits in one batch, there’s plenty of puppy love to go around.🍓🍌
You’ll need…
- 5 diced strawberries
- 1 small ripe banana
- 1 egg
- 2 tablespoons coconut oil
- 1.75 cup oat flour
Time Required: 15 minutes + 12-15 minutes cooking time
Servings: 100 yummy treats
- In a large bowl, mash the strawberries and banana.
- Add the egg and oil to the fruit and stir until well combined.
- Gradually add the oat flour and mix well.
- Chill dough for at least 30 minutes or overnight.
- Roll out the dough and using cookie cutters, cut out heart shapes and place onto a non-stick baking sheet.
- Place in an oven that has been preheated to 350°. Cook for 12-15 minutes. Allow to cool, then store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 5 days or place in the freezer for up to 3 months.
Fresh from the oven and made with love, these little fruity biscuits are the perfect Valentine surprise. Just be ready… every time you open the container, your pups will come running for more!
