More dog cookies! That’s gotta be the best way to start the weekend, right?!
Today we’re creating a fun seasonal treat for our fluffy floofs. And bonus, they’re made with a dog-approved combo of pumpkin and peanut butter, hooray!
These Pumpkin Kiss Dog Cookies are a fun and flavorful nibble you’ll wanna make for Fall. Plus the cookie base is crazy easy…
You’ll need…
Ingredients:
1/3 cup pumpkin puree (not pumpkin pie filling, which contains ingredients that may be harmful to your dog)
3/4 cup peanut butter (xylitol-free)
1 large egg
1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1/4 teaspoon ground ginger
1 gallon Ziploc bag
Scissors
Time Required:
20 minutes
Servings:
20 yummy treats
Step 1
In a large bowl, mix the pumpkin puree, peanut butter and egg until well combined. Then, sprinkle in the spices and mix just until incorporated.
Step 2
Fill the ziploc bag with the yummy mixture and cut the bottom tip. Twist the bag and squeeze out little 1 inch drops onto a baking sheet.
Step 3
Bake at 350°F for 10-12 minutes or until treats are lightly browned on the bottom. You can store treats in the refrigerator in an airtight container for up to 2 weeks or place in the freezer for up to 2 months.
These are the most adorable fall cookies for pups! A spice cookie with pumpkin in the shape of little kisses! They turned out AMAZING. Best of all, you’re guaranteed to hear the sound of puppy toes doing a happy dance on your kitchen floor while you bake!
