Ready to give it a try?

You’ll need…

• Woven wicker hearts in large and small sizes
• Dried forest moss
• 3/16 x 12 inch wood dowels or wood skewers
• 1 inch wood beads
• 3 or 4 inch terra cotta clay pots
• Floral foam
• Valentine’s ribbons
• 1/4 inch pom poms
• Hot glue gun and sticks
• Scissors

1. Glue small bits of moss all the way around the outer edge of your wicker heart.
2. Attach a small wood bead to the end of a little dowel with hot glue and then glue the bead to the bottom of the moss heart.
3. Tuck a piece of floral foam into a clay pot and “plant” the other end of the dowel into the foam.
4. Spread glue over the top of the foam and cover it with moss.
5. Make a cute bow from a Valentine’s ribbon and attach it to the base of the heart.

They’re sweet without being over-the-top, making them easy to keep on display well past Valentine’s Day. In the heart of winter, they offer a simple way to bring the beauty of nature inside and brighten your space with a fresh, cozy feel.
