Americana Hoop Wreath

There’s something extra special about decorating with handmade touches, especially around the Fourth of July.

This week on the DIY table: we’re making a patriotic red, white, and blue wreath that’s anything but ordinary! Using three layered wooden hoops instead of your typical foam or wire base, this quick and easy craft is full of texture and Americana vibes. Add in cozy scraps of fabric, a sweet star-studded bow, and wooden embellishments, and you’ve got a wreath that feels as homey as a summer evening with fireflies.

It’s more than a wreath…it’s a little expression of love, country charm, and summer coziness, all rolled into one.

Grab your glue gun and let’s get going!

You’ll need…

  1. Lay a piece of fabric down on your work surface, place the largest hoop on top, and trace around it. Cut out the circular shape you made.
  2. Glue the fabric to the back side of the hoop, pulling it taught to smoothing out all the wrinkles as you secure it to the ring. Repeat these steps for the other two hoops using complimentary fabrics.
  3. Glue the different sized hoops on top of each other, from largest to smallest, so that they all meet together on one side.
  4. Glue the bow to the place where all of the hoops meet and attach a fun wooden embellishment to the center of the small hoop.
  5. Use a piece of twine to make a hanger, attach it to the back and enjoy!

Hoop, hoop, hooray! Such a beautiful tribute to the red, white and blue. ❤️🤍💙 And it’s so easy to make, super customizable, and looks fantastic on your front door, porch, or even indoors for those summer celebrations.
