20 Dec PAWsome Gift Wrapping Hacks
Are you in a pinch to wrap those last-minute gifts this holiday? Well, we’ve got a super-festive way to spruce up your packages with leftover gift wrapping scraps!
There always seems to be these odd sized pieces of wrapping paper the closer you get to Christmas – ya just don’t know what to do with ‘em. They’re not tiny enough to toss…
Thanks to the inspo from @csmscrapbooker and @mama_mila_au, we have come up with 3 super quick and easy gift wrapping hacks to give your plain packages the PAWfect finishing touch. Each one will make your gifts a little more special! 🎁
You’ll need…
- Pre-wrapped gifts
- Scraps of wrapping paper (dog themed of course!)
- Green curling ribbon
- 1 inch wood paw print
- Red and green paw print ribbons
- Fabric glue or hot glue
- Glue stick
- Scissors
- Pen
Gift Wrapping Idea #1
- Using dog-themed paper, trace a circle around 5-6 dogs and cut them out.
- Fold circles in half.
- Glue the left side of one circle to the right side of another.
- Repeat until all circles are attached. (Don’t glue the last circle to the first.)
- Attach your doggie ornament to the package and top it with a bow.
It’s a mini flipbook ornament! How fun!
Gift Wrapping Idea #2
- Stick a strip of double-sided tape down the middle of your package.
- Attach a green ribbon in a zig-zag pattern along the tape to create a tree shape.
- Glue a wooden pawprint on top.
This couldn’t be easier!
Gift Wrapping Idea #3
- Roll up several sized scraps into tube shapes.
- Use double-sided tape on the back to attach them to your package from big to small to create a tree shape.
- Add a small twig at the base.
- Top it off with a red paw print bow.
So fun and very festive!
