08 Mar Fruitables Dog Treats Review

Oh my gosh, we recently had a chance to give Fruitables® dog treats a try and wanted to share our experience with you! The company has a wonderful selection of healthy treats to choose from – low-calorie treats, baked treats, yogurt treats, whole jerky, and more! – so our pups got a chance to be adorable taste testers. 

Because Ginger’s a smaller breed dog, we’re always on the hunt for tiny (and healthy) treats to give her. So we tore open a bag of Skinny Minis® first. They didn’t smell as fruity as expected, most likely to the vinegar which we found in the list of ingredients. And even though both Ginger and LuLu were happy with the taste and we really liked the cute little flower shape of the Skinny Minis, neither of us would likely get these again due to the vinegary smell. 

It is nice, however, that these treats are only 3 calories each. Since we’re still working with Ginger on potty training, small size and low-calorie treats like these make an ideal training reward.

We were excited to try the crispy bacon and apple Fruitables® Baked Treats – cuz’ everything’s better with bacon, right?! These crunchy treats have the same adorable flower shape as the Skinny Minis, just a bit bigger – and 8 calories each. Ginger found these treats irresistible and the aroma was more aligned to the flavor. 

These Fruitables® Greek oven-baked munchable treats were probably my favorite. The combination of Greek yogurt and sweet coconut had a delightfully tropical aroma and Ginger happily gobbled up every rewarding bite. The flower-shaped treats are the same size and calorie count as the Baked Treats, which is nice. 

Lucky little LuLu got to try out the tasty duck and sweet potato Fruitables® Whole Jerky® Bites. They’re a nice sized treat – more like a dried sweet potato chip than typical chewy jerky. It’s easily breakable into smaller sizes and we like that they’re made from whole cuts of premium USA-sourced meats with nothing artificial added. 

According to the packages, the Skinny Minis, Baked Treats and Greek Treats are made with wholesome Superfoods and formulated with CalorieSmart® nutrition. And all of their products are made in the USA. So if you’d like to give these a try, you can feel confident that your pup is getting deliciously healthy dog treats they deserve.
