Treat dispensing dog toys reward your playful pup for solving puzzles, and keep them physically and mentally active. So we just fell in love with the idea of adding a little fuzzy pizzaz to make this store-bought toy even more fun and challenging to play!

You’ll need…

1 small JW Hol-ee Roller Treat Dispensing Dog Ball

½ yard of fleece

A sharp pair of scissors

Instructions:

Step 1

Cut fleece into strips about 6-8 inches long and 1 inch wide.

Step 2

Loop one end of the strip through a hole in the ball and tie a knot to secure it to the toy.

Step 3

Continue tying fleece strips around the ball until it’s covered.

Step 4

Fill the toy with your dog’s favorite dry food kibbles or small treats, give it to your pup and let the fun begin! As your dog rolls the ball around or chews on it, the treats fall through small holes on the ball’s surface. 

When they’re done playing, this treat ball can be tossed in the washing machine for easy cleaning, which can be especially important when food is involved. It’s made of durable, natural rubber and is completely safe and non-toxic. What’s not to love about that?!!
