16 Aug DIY Customized Dog Toy Box
Frisbees, fluffies and fido favorites, oh my! This week we’re making an adorable DIY Customized Dog Toy Box any dog would love. And it’s the perfect solution for keeping all those balls and toys in one place. Best of all, this toy box can be customized for the size and shape of your pup. This decorative storage chest DIY is so easy to follow – anyone can build it!
You’ll need…
Cardboard box
Colorful contact paper
Scissors
Hot glue gun
Step 1
Grab a cardboard box that’s the perfect size for your pup’s collection of toys. And if you have a little fur kid at home, you can cut down the height of the box to make it easier for your dog to pull out their favorite squeaky fuzzy buddy when it’s done.
Step 2
Cut the contact paper to size and cover the interior floor and walls, folding over the top edge of the box.
Step 3
Next, wrap the outer bottom of the box with paper, folding the paper over the bottom edge.
Step 4
Starting at either the top or bottom corner of the box, hot glue the rope as you wind it around the outside of the box. Do your best to keep the rope snuggly together as you wrap the sides.
Isn’t this the best dog toy box ever?! Stuff it to the brim with a load of toys, frisbees, balls and fluffies and you’re done. Now go have fun watching your pups as their faces light up picking out their favorite toys.
