03 Jan Baby’s Breath Winter Wreath
The new year is here, and it’s time to refresh your winter front door with a touch of effortless elegance!
Baby’s Breath is a symbol of new beginnings and hope, making it the ideal flower for this project so you can start your year off fresh. First, make a quick trip to your local Dollar Tree to pick up a small wreath form and dash over to the florist (or grocery store) for bouquets of baby’s breath. Then dig through your craft stash for some white and black ribbons – and you’re ready to create!
In just a few minutes, you can sit back with a cup of cocoa, admiring your handiwork. ‘Cuz you’ll have a stunning Baby’s Breath Winter Wreath guaranteed to brighten up your door and your new year! ❄️
You’ll need…
- Cut sprigs of baby’s breath to create a small bunch. Wrap wire around the stems 3 times to secure the bunch to the wreath form. Continue this step until you’ve covered the entire wreath.
- Make a small bow from your ribbons. For something different, layer two ribbons together and make the loops of your bow. Secure the loops in the center with a small piece of floral wire. Then tie a third ribbon over the wire to create the center knot of your bow. This creates a cute bow with a bunch of long tails.
- Gently attach the bow to your wreath with the floral wire.
- Add a small piece of ribbon to the top of your wreath for a hanger and enjoy!
We hope you have as much fun making these as we did!! There’s so much you can do with them. When you lay them flat, they will make the most beautiful centerpieces for a wedding or bridal shower. You can also wrap your wreath form on both sides to create two-sided wreaths to hang freely from tree branches. How stunning would that be?!
