19 Sep Velvet Pumpkin Fall Wreath
Fall is here and we’re celebrating with another Dollar Tree DIY!
Today we’re playing with velvet pumpkins in muted tones that feel fresh and fabulous. Think mauve, ivory, soft grey, and dusty blue, all tucked together on a wreath that’s full of cozy charm. Add in maple leaves and curly sprigs, and you’ve got yourself a seasonal statement piece you’ll love to display year after year.
Dollar Tree never looked so fancy. ✨
You’ll need…
- Glue velvet pumpkins all around the wire wreath form until the frame disappears. As you add each one, secure it both to the wreath and to the pumpkins next to it for extra stability. Don’t be afraid to mix up the colors and tip a few on their sides for interest.
Note, if your pumpkins come with leaves or are attached to picks, be sure to remove them first so that all you’re left with are the velvet pumpkins. - Take two or three large maple leaves and glue them to the underside of the wreath frame. Make a few more bunches and glue them to the underside of the wreath until you’re happy with the look.
- Tuck a few curly stems (from the pumpkin floral picks) and glue them near the leaves for a fun embellishment, if you have them.
And that’s all there is to it…a velvet pumpkin fall wreath that looks high-end but comes together with budget-friendly finds. Perfect for hanging on your door, above your mantel, or anywhere that needs a little autumn magic.
