Peanut Butter Rice Pup Puffs

We love it when a few simple ingredients can come together to create something truly delicious – and this rice puff dog treats recipe is one of those magical ingredient combinations. Best of all they’re reminiscent of the fun rice krispie bars we all enjoyed as kids – but safe for our pups! Just soft, chewy goodness!

When making these delicious no-bake doggo snacks, you’ll find they only take minutes to throw together. All you need are a few simple ingredients and you end up with these rolly-polly, yummy little treats for your furry best friends.

You’ll need…

Time Required: 15 minutes prep. Refrigerate for 1 hour.

Servings: 20 yummy treats

  1. Combine rice puffs and flour into a mixing bowl.
  2. Add peanut butter, honey and coconut oil in a microwave safe bowl and heat for 10 second intervals until melted.
  3. Add the warm peanut butter mixture to the rice puffs and flour and stir together until combined.
  4. Shape the mixture into 1 inch size balls with your hands and place onto non-stick baking sheet.
  5. Place treats in the refrigerator for at least an hour to allow them to set.

You can store treats in the refrigerator in an airtight container for up to 2 weeks or place in the freezer for up to 2 months.

The combination of textures and flavors is amazing! There’s the delicate, crispy, air-filled cereal that gives these dog cookies a classic crunchy texture – and then smothered with the favorite taste of peanut butter our pampered pups love! Nom nom nom!
