Well howdy pawtner! If your pup enjoys hiking through the woods; taking a joyride on the tractor; or romping through the fields, then you’re gonna love today’s craft. It’s all about creating a farm-fresh floral design in honor of country canines!

The inspiration for today’s project comes from some Dollar Tree finds: a colorful collection of flowers, some floral foam, twine and a metal bucket vase. And the end result is a BowWow Bucket Bouquet that brings on the cheer and is oh-so charming!

You’ll need…

Various silk flowers
3x4x4 inch floral foam block
5.5 inch jute wrapped metal bucket
Jute twine
Green polka dot fabric

1.5 inch green dog-themed wired ribbon
Scissors
Super glue
Twist tie

Step 1

With a small scrap of fabric, cut out a paw print shape and glue the pieces onto the front of the bucket.

Step 2

Cut a long piece of jute twine, wrap it around the top of the bucket and tie the knot so that it’s on the side of the bucket. Cut a second piece of twine the same size, wrap it around the bucket and this time have the knot on the opposite side. Glue the knots to the bucket to hold the twine in place.

Step 3

Press the floral foam down inside the bucket. If you’d like, you can glue the foam in place so it doesn’t fall out. Trim the floral stems, as needed, and insert them into the foam to create a colorful arrangement.

Step 4

Create a small bow using the wired ribbon and twist tie. If you’d like you can embellish the center of the bow with a few small silk flowers. Pull the ends of the twine above the bouquet and tie them together in a single knot to create a hanger. Then tie your new bow around the large twine knot you just made.
