Using this No-Carve Howl-oween Puppy Pumpkin DIY, you can decorate the front stoop in one fell swoop with festive holiday pumpkins in honor of your furry best friends. And they’re a fun-filled family activity that’s sure to have the whole neighborhood talking!
You’ll need…
- White or orange pumpkin
- Acrylic paints in white, brown or black
- Burlap or brown felt for ears
- Brushes
- Felt tip marker
- Sharpie markers in black, brown, gold or silver
- Scissors
- Hot glue gun and sticks
Step 1
Paint your pumpkin using your pup’s general colors and markings. In this example, the majority of this white pumpkin is painted gold for the puppy’s body color.
Step 2
Grab a felt tip marker and trace the face or other markings. Then use the sharpie to fill in the eyes, nose and mouth.
Step 3
Cut out burlap, fabric or felt for the ears… whatever you have on hand…and hot glue them in place on the head.
Step 4
Paint or wrap jute rope around the stem as a final touch, if you’d like.
These pumpkin pups are the pawfect addition to your decor, right? So why not make a few?!! Give all your jack-o’-lanterns a spooky or pretty makeover with these easy tips using other things around the house like cheese cloth, googly eyes, and other creative accessories.
