14 Jun DIY Dog Dad Photo Gift
We all know it’d be ruff without him – you know the fella we’re talkin’ about. He’s the world’s greatest PawPaw! So in honor of Father’s Day, this super quick and easy DIY Dog Dad Photo Gift idea is all about him.
You’ll need…
- Poster board
- Scrapbook paper
- Stencils for the letters A and D
- Pen or pencil
- Scissors
- Glue stick
- Camera or smartphone to take pics
- Picture frame for three photos
- …and your precious pup(s) of course!
Step 1
Grab your stencils and trace a letter A and a letter D onto a piece of colorful scrapbook paper.
Step 2
Glue the papers onto some poster board and cut the letters out. (We found the poster board helps to make the letters a little more sturdy so they don’t curl.)
Step 3
Take a bunch of photos of your pup/s posing separately with the letter A and the letter D. And be sure to take at least two photos with the letter D. Because when you’re done, you’ll want to spell the word DAD using three different pics.
Step 4
Print your three favorite photos on your home printer using photo paper, or you could use Walgreens for printing, too. Simply place your order online and pick up your pics in your local store one hour later!
Step 5
Arrange the photos in the frame so the pictures spell out DAD. Aw, how adorable is this for Paw-ther’s Day? His heart is sure to melt when he sees those fuzzy faces.
Hint: If your pups are at the rainbow bridge, you can modify the steps and embellish the center spot with a fun saying in honor of your dog dad and his love for his beloved best furry friends. Like we did here…
